Quick Big Five (TIPI)
Ten word pairs, about two minutes. A fast snapshot of the Big Five, compared with the average from the original study.
Your answers stay in this browser tab unless you choose to share them anonymously.
About this questionnaire
The TIPI measures the same five traits as the Big Five, but with only two word pairs per trait. It is less precise than a long questionnaire, but it is quick and holds up well in research.
Rate how well each pair of words describes you, even if one word fits better than the other.
Scoring: each trait averages one statement and one reversed statement on a 1–7 scale. Your scores are compared with the averages reported in the original paper.
Before you start
For reflection, not diagnosis. This is a self-report questionnaire. It cannot diagnose any condition, and it is not a basis for hiring, admission or any other decision about a person.
Private by default. Everything runs in your browser. Your answers are not saved or sent anywhere unless you choose, before starting, to share them anonymously for site statistics.
Provided as is. A personal project, free and with no warranty. Not connected to any institution I work with.
