About this questionnaire

The Single Ease Question was compared with other one-question ratings by Jeff Sauro and Joseph Dumas (2009) and has become a standard in usability testing, because one quick question after each task works about as well as longer questionnaires.

Ask it right after someone finishes a task, or answer it yourself about something you have just done.

Scoring: 1 = very difficult, 7 = very easy. Across hundreds of tasks the average is around 5.5 (MeasuringU).
