Batting average in baseball
Batting average = hits ÷ times at bat (hits per time at bat)
Written to three decimal places (0.325). In Japan it is read with three old units: 0.1 = 1 wari, 0.01 = 1 bu, 0.001 = 1 rin → 0.325 = 3 wari 2 bu 5 rin (tenths, hundredths, thousandths).
